Simone co-hosts Loveline, a syndicated week night radio show across North America, with Dr Drew Pinsky and Mike Catherwood. It’s the first time in the show’s 30 year history that a woman has been a co-host, so naturally Simone was over the moon! Dr Drew Pinksy was also delighted. Simone Bienne is “smart, funny, someone I respect tremendously, and she brings a wealth of clinical expertise particularly suited to the Loveline audience”.
Over the years, Simone has hosted over 8000 hours of live radio. Simone started her radio career co-hosting Late And Live, on London’s leaading commercial radio station, Capital FM. It achieved the highest ratings in that time slot for over 5 years. Simone also hosted weeknight syndicated radio show, Late Night Love. Simone’s weekday mid-morning radio show on Southern FM achieved the highest listening figures on the radio station for 8 years. On her daily relationship feature, Flirty @ 10.30, Simone attracted much press attention when she helped reconcile the relationships of married and seperated couples. Simone also executive-produced and hosted a radio series, Happy New You. The show was awarded a Silver national radio award (CRCA 2006). Recently Simone co-hosted a documentary with Irma Kurtz for BBC Radio 4, Generation Gap – Agony Aunts, with an estimated audience of two million listeners.
